Perhaps as interesting as the facts he reveals and the opinions he records about Dickens and George Eliot, politics and the civil service are the judgments he passes on his own character.

Good book, distracting narration
I appreciate the content of this book. The vernacular is a bit dated, but then again... well said. The narrator seems rushed and I found the mispronunciation generally distracting, detracting from the message.

Not as expected
I believe in the power of books. However, this book "How To Live in 24 Hours" does not posses that magic. Make sure to listen to the preview before buying this book.

Just wasted an hour of my life
I haven’t listened to every book on audible, so I can’t say this is the worst book ever. But it is certainly the worst book I have listened to so far. Both the content and the narrator are dreadful. That was a genuinely painful experience.

19th century time management
it is kind of fascinating from a historical perspective to see that so many of the same issues were at play, but a 100 year-old time management book is mostly not that helpful.
