Whatever your conversational goal, you’ll find tactics to put you in a winning position—in a literal sense with arguments and in a figurative sense with making friends. No more: interview mode, awkward silence, or struggling to hold people’s attention.

How to Talk to Anyone is a unique book. It provides guidance for every social situation you’ll come across, including "What should I say?", "Hello, how was your weekend?", "I disagree with you", "Stop doing that", "Here’s a story", and "Good-bye".

You’ll find 100 percent actionable, nuanced, and subtle tactics to salvage your worst situations and enhance your best—all field-tested and proven through thousands of conversations. In addition to shrewd insights to make conversation flow, you’ll learn to win arguments and diffuse dirty tricks.

Patrick King is an internationally best-selling author and social skills coach. His writing draws of a variety of sources, from scientific research, academic experience, coaching, and real life experience. How to hold a conversation 101

Great book on how to start, carry, and end conversations. A lot of it is common sense stuff but because of out habit/routine we don’t put it into practice when taking with people.

Deeply Insightful

As someone who wants to be a better listener, more confident, know how to connect and also how to read and end a conversation… this makes me feel like I really can learn to do those things. It also helps me understand how to take my feelings of being too self absorbed and a little blind in conversations and give me insights and tips to turn those into a good conversation

Listen, 80% listening 20% communication

Great book . I feel I’m great at conversations but I tend to make things odd and I make it about me . I want to become a better at listening and really ask good questions as well .

The fact I had been doing some things mentioned already.

Nothing stood out as a dislike. I was made aware of things I had previously done wrong.

Easy to understand

It was easy to understand with the voice actor being clear and concise. The book was that of interests, as it allows me to gain more information and insight in reading conversations. It was a good read and I would recommend this book to my friends.

Amazing Book!

We often approach conversations as if they were battlegrounds, engaging in a war of words and vying for dominance, rather than perceiving them as a collaborative tennis match where the exchange is balanced and reciprocal. This insightful exploration of conversational dynamics offers profound wisdom on enhancing your intrapersonal communication skills. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to elevate their dialogic proficiency!

This is read by AI, the tone of the voice is off and sounds robotic. Totally not human

This is read by AI, the tone of the voice is off and sounds robotic. Totally not human. Made it hard to soak up the book with the awkward robot reading it to me.
