fairly realistic

I really enjoyed listening to Hunted. This book continues the story of Maddie's family trying to get back together after an EMP takes down most of the US. This story has just enough drama, action, and sadness to be believable. In this story no one is exempt from hurt or hardship and even the preppers are caught off guard as they find you can never prep for everything. I received a free copy of the audio book and am leaving my honest review of the book.

Fantastic Series

Never want to stop listening! Great storyline and reading by Kevin Pierce. Definitely recommend this series to anyone.

Everyone needs a Buster!

I really like this series, each book seems to finish up the mini story line. I recommend this author if you like your storyline to be fast pace, a lot of action, and likable characters. Can’t wait until book 3.

Great story

Like the first book....... the story was great. But, the reading was so monotone and no feeling.

Solid EMP series

Though not as gritty and action packed as many of the others, the Days of Want series is a great addition to any collection. The characters in this series are super prepared, in a way that 99 percent of the world population would never be. That's not a bad thing, because it makes for an interesting perspective. Maddie and Zach, brother and sister, are being looked after by their family friend, and fellow super prepper, Ryan and his clan.

After being at Ryan's home, the group is soon forced out. Maddie and Zach's mother Beth is traveling to meet them. They are met with the usual disasters, but every character is more than prepared. Just enjoying the characters, and seeing as how our world has already eclipsed the violence in this series, it's enjoyable to read about people who care about and for each other. And to see them work together to survive. It's great escapist fun.

As always, Kevin Pierce is the anchor here. The voice of the apocalypse never waivers. Listening to him is like spending time with a close friend. So comforting. Can't wait for book 3.

I loved it. I loved the characters and the story. I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series. The narration was excellent also.

a thrilling, twisting story of Zack, Mady, Ryan and those traveling with them as they attempt to escape those hunting them down.

Better than the first

Thankfully this story has gotten better. The main female character can still be annoying at times, but the rest of her group, all prior military friends of her dead Dad, make up for it. Got a feeling the pitiful stepfather weenie is gonna be annoying in the next book. One of the characters you want to be killed off....

My Kind Of Story

Loved it. Great story line and Kevin Pierce is one of the best narrators for this genre.
