Not very good

I pressed in to finish the book but feel she made her character about as dumb as they get. I know she was drownded with fear... but she was as stupid as it gets.
Really unimpressed.

Way better suspense novels out there

Didn't like the narration. Found it hard to feel the proper emotions because of their inflections. Story was good not great. Quite predictable.

Kept me listening

I really enjoyed this book - especially the unexpected twists and turns!
The intensity of the first person view into the mind of the villain was well-written - both believable and haunting.

Slow start, great middle, decent end

The beginning of this book was difficult. t was so slow then the middle picked up with a good plot and the outcome was just ok.

almost like a Quintien Teratino story

I liked the twist, got a little confusing jumping back and fourth, i had to re-listen at times thinkin I missed something when it jumped back and fourth. However, good read.

good story...start to finish

normally i always feel a little let down at the end of a book..not this one. it held me captive start to finish.

Clever plot twist does not redeem this book

This book has a very clever twist midway, but the rest of the story is so predictable that I thought that the solution had to be a red herring when I first figured it out early on. Disturbing scenes of domestic violence from the perpetrator's point of view take up a big proportion of the book but don't advance the plot. I don't think I will read this author again, if this is representative of her work.

So many layers and a powerful message

I Let You Go explains the brutal honesty of domestic violence.
Clare knows her subject and her descriptions and character development is perfect. Can’t wait to read her next book.

Great book for readers who love twists! Alternating male and female narrators help give appropriate feelings for the story.

Book had lots of twists and turns. Ending was intense. Very good story line. Performances were well done.
