Fundamentally, this book inspired me to embrace grace, both for myself and for others. I loved Brooke’s stories and applications inspiring us to be “stone catchers” vs. “stone throwers,” a phrase she references from the book “Just Mercy.” It’s a short, inspiring read that’s perfect and accessible for a book club or Bible study.

Exactly what I needed
I loved this reminder about my worth, my efforts and my connection to Christ. So many chapters were so applicable to my life with teenagers right now. I loved feeling like I wasn’t alone and that I’m doing the best I can. I’m grateful that my Heavenly Father doesn’t give up on me just like I’ll never give up on my teens.
