Always enjoyable

There’s nothing more enjoyable to me than a hockey based romance, especially one with Teddy Hamilton as a narrator. Sarina Bowen is the absolute best.

Loved This Story!

This was a wonderful story. A slow burn that worked so well. Tommaso and Carter met by chance and just slowly got to know each other as Carter was working as his interior designer. The conversations and interactions they had over the course of a few weeks were just fabulous. Smart, clever dialogue that just drew you into their story. Tom was struggling so much with his sexuality as a pro hockey player, harboring years of being closeted and afraid of the repercussions of being his true self. He was a wonderful character. So kind and caring and just a good guy. As he falls for Carter it helps him decide to be true to himself and the way it all unfolds was so organic and so lovely. This was lower on the steam side, but worked with the story. This was not about Tom's firsts with a guy, that wasn't even really addressed. This was about Tom coming into his own with Carter by his side, navigating family and being a pro athlete, which made it so much harder. Teddy and Jacob are the narrator dream team, sublime and seamless between chapters and they brought Tom and Carter to life. Add in Hunter and Gavin from book 1, as well as the amazing teammates and this was just an absolutely fabulous book!

Love It!

Once again these three have out done themselves. Sabrina is a master mind. Jacob M & Teddy H. Always do a wonderful job. The story was sweet, and fun. Heartfelt and beautifully written.

I give…few…5 stars…this is one of em. Most of these stars are for these two narrators…2 of the best; I very often pick the books by the actors skills

VERY ENJOYABLE LISTEN-GREAT ESCAPE

I find Ms. Bowen’s writing to be much better than some of her peers who also write hockey romance and/or LGBTQ+ themed works. This makes reading and listening much easier and definitely much more enjoyable. It also decreases the chances of wasting your precious Audible credit or hard earned cash. If you’re interested in listening to just the sμcκing and getting off parts and have no interest in the storyline or romance content whatsoever, there are other books that are probably a better fit for you. However, if you prefer an actual storyline of some sort, if you enjoy the dance of the romance, the foreplay of it all, that little (or big) something that just seems to enhance the story (and sex scenes) all the more, then you can do no better than Ms. Sarina Bowen’s writing. Her writing includes sex scenes, of course, but she also offers so much more than just that. Whereas many other writers prefer to cut to the chase and offer just the tail end, where the storyline is nothing but sex, Ms. Bowen prefers to offer her readers and listeners a big full package story to savor and enjoy, tail end, top, bottom and everything in between. If you’re anything like me and prefer your books to have a bit more meat to satisfy your reading/listening hunger, then look no further. Ms. Bowen’s books are very entertaining and enjoyable to read or listen to. They’re a great escape!

Funny, heartfelt, hot, hockey, and the BEST narrating duo ever. This book delivers everything I look for and from an author that does mm romance extremely well.
