Resumen del Editor

To help her archaeologist sister, geeky Samantha Rose swaps her black T-shirts and diet of pizza and ice cream for a pretty apron and a summer caring for her adorable twin nieces plus their Newfoundland dog in Huckleberry Lake, Idaho. How hard can it be?

When the homemaker blog meant to reassure her sister goes viral, everyone believes it's real. Sam needs to convince them she truly is a Proverbs 31 woman before the girls' overprotective grandma swoops in to remove them.

Burned-out city crime journalist Daniel Novak thinks a month at the lake will be his worst nightmare when he is forced by his boss to interview Sam then take a vacation. But he finds her surprising and delightful as her attempt to impress him with a picnic goes horribly wrong. Time with Sam could restore his lost faith in people - and in God.

But if Ms. Klutz-in-the-Kitchen can't transform herself into a perfect homemaker in time, he has to reveal the truth. No matter what it does to their growing love.

Sweet and Spiritual

I liked this book. I liked the humor sprinkled throughout. I love the faith and how the male protagonist realizes that God, the Father is loving, forgiving, and ever Faithful.
The narrator, Sarah Kate did a wonderful job.

Cute Story!

Cute, clean story. Some spiritual content and little bit of romance. Works well as stand-alone.

Sweet Romance

Imperfectly Proverbs 31 is a delightful contemporary romance by Autumn Macarthur. Samantha who has been told she'll never get married unless she learns to cook considers herself an "old maid" at 31. When she temporarily moves to Huckleberry Lake to care for her two young nieces for the summer, she unexpectedly finds herself in love. Will the truth of her blogging life be the undoing of this new romance? The bits of humor and the addition of a lovable dog and two active little girls always makes for a fun and interesting story. Readers of sweet romances will not want to miss this one. I won a copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a review.

Unique Storyline

I read all three Huckleberry Lake books and enjoyed each one. The Characters in "Imperfectly Proverbs 31" were well developed and the heroine, Samantha Rose, had a unique problem that needed to be resolved. The author makes a good point that women often have difficulty because they compare themselves to others that they feel are living "perfect" lives, instead of finding what God has planned for them and what unique talents he has given to each of us. The only issue with this book was that four weeks is not enough time to determine if you are right for each other and to make the decision to get married.

I loved it

I loved it. This was a clean christian romance that I would feel comfortable letting my daughter listen to. I love books that include bible verses that go along with the line.
