The story was good. Narrator could have been better though. I will check out the next in series.

A fun listen.

This was a quick, fun listen with mystery, police procedural, your usual threads, a bit of danger, a bit of action, lots of personal drama … packs everything I love in a mystery. It was also fast-paced.

Based on this read, I will be exploring more from this author—it’s made me a fan.

Audio:
The narrator did a good job, overall, though he does sound a bit robotic. Not one I’d seek out, more one I can tolerate for the right book. (From me, that’s high praise, as I can’t listen to just anyone read.) 3-star performance.
Production quality was smooth.

Good thriller

With a great mix of mystery, drama, and police procedural, this thriller was fun to listen to. I tried my best to guess who the culprit was but failed.

Lots of twists and turns

Unusual setting made this story especially unique and fascinating.

Good Mystery!

This is the first book in the High Peaks Mystery Thriller Series. The characters are well developed. The plot is well crafted, and intriguing. I liked the mystery, and the twists and turns. Miles Meili did a good job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review.

The Prodigal Son Return

When Noah Sutherland return home to attend the funeral of his identical twin brother, You are drawn into a mystery that has you on the edge of your seat. I enjoyed this book so much, I immediately got and finished book 2 Vanish from Sight. Moving on to book 3

Another classic done by Jack. Looking forward to the next chapter in the story. Well done as always.

I am a huge Patterson fan, but I can now consider myself a new Hunt fan!

Don’t take things at face value.

I liked his persistence in finding the truth. A lot of twists, and turns to hold your attention.

Not enough action, too much detail. More time needed on the rising and falling action.
