Corrie and her whole family inspire my whole family. I learned a lot by listening to her real life stories. Must read. One of the best.

Encouragement and Faith

I loved the format. A truly healthy family life, in spite of the evil around them. Their faith tried by fire and came out gold all for God’s glory and his kingdom. God never lets go of our hand once we have accepted him. It is we, who let loose or let go and drown in our sins. Very well written. Very encouraging, inspiring and a beautiful story of hope and faith through all the storms in our lives. Corrie Ten Boom was truly an angel from God. I have so much respect for all she did in her life. Praise be to God for her life and ministry.

This book is a must read for anyone who wants to learn more Corrie Ten Boom. This book tells more about her family and experiences in her life that molded her into the Christian woman we know so well in “The Hiding Place.”

A story for all generations. To inspire and motivate us to share Christ with a very broken world.

A Beautiful Addition

This was a wonderful addition to The Hiding Place and The Watchmaker’s Daughter. It brought to mind my summers at camp and so many wonderful activities shared together with families and friends. It was so amazing to hear about the precious framework that built a foundation that could not be broken. So many lives were touched in WWI and WWII and following each war, especially the children.

The courage that they had to stand up for what is right

I like that there is a lot of scripture in this story and it was taken from the KJV Bible

An encouraging book

Listening to all the stories of Corrie Ten Boom life and works, growing in such a rich in spirit and consecrated lives in Christ, Corrie's family was amazing. Corrie was a single woman. She never married and yet her life was so rich and she did so many good things for young people that marked the rest of their lives. BUT the most that I enjoyed is her trust in God that was so ingrained in all that she did and that her father was a great example of what a Christian father should be and how he had an open heart for the lost and for the Jews.

The Best of the Best

The ten Boom family was and is still a model of courage and Christian discipline. The stories never get old and each time it feels like the first time to listen. One feels present in this book, like they are all there. This book takes place during Corrie’s childhood and adulthood, all pre Holocaust. It’s enthralling in every way. Wonderful narration. It doesn’t get better.
