Diagnosed with stage 5 kidney disease, Elisa's 10 percent kidney function jeopardized her life. The clock was ticking as her family watched helplessly and prayed for a compatible donor. Since stage 5 is the most severe, little hope remained as each day passed, but faith continued to be a light during that dark time.
That's when a miracle came from someone unexpected: her adopted brother, David, who was born in a different country. Very informative book on transplant
I found this book to be very honest and inspiring. If someone is facing a transplant surgery or has a family member facing one, this book will inform and inspire you. I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
