Our society has become trapped in “me-focused” mindsets, pushing God further into the back burners of our lives. However, pastor/author Jerry King believes we need to make the choice of you or the Kingdom and his new book, It is Not About You! It’s About the Kingdom, is to influence kingdom living and living selfless faith. The central discussion point of the book is about the conflict between good and evil; two kingdoms Christians find themselves within daily. The evil is strategies of Satan, producing dangerous strongholds in our minds, while the good is establishing a right relationship with Jesus through steps to make a covenant with God. Jerry also shares his inspirational testimony of God’s miraculous healing of his heart and his involvement with helping couples find biblical marriage solutions. The choice is ours: choose to put us first or put God first and see how His purposes emerge.
