Ist das Leben nicht merkwürdig? Meins schon. Hin und wieder zumindest. Also ... in letzter Zeit sogar recht häufig. Fast immer, kann man sagen. In einem Moment droht die Welt unterzugehen und im nächsten frage ich mich, warum sich plötzlich alles um Kotze dreht und ob es wirklich so eine gute Idee ist, wenn meine Eltern mir ein Profil auf einer Datingseite anlegen. Als wäre die heldenhafte Opferung unseres dämonischen Mitbewohners zum Wohle des irdischen Fortbestehens nicht schon schlimm genug, muss ich mich nun auch noch mit einer Unzulänglichkeit herumschlagen, die mich nicht nur sprichwörtlich zur Weißglut bringt. Aber hey, mein Name wäre nicht Tess Carlisle, wenn ich nicht jede Katastrophe für mich entdecken würde. Wovon diese Geschichte konkret handelt? Keine Ahnung. Sag du es mir. Den roten Faden in meinem Leben hat das Backenhörnchen schon längst durchgebissen. Kontinuität brauchen wir hier wirklich nicht mehr zu suchen. Aber dafür haben wir jetzt einen eigenen Fla… Oh nein, die Überraschung will ich nicht vorwegnehmen. Ist doch viel spannender, wenn ihr es selbst herausfindet. Vielleicht trinke ich solange mit dem Teufel einen Kaffee. Und das ist noch nicht einmal ... Ach, was sag ich ... Ihr kommt schon selber drauf ...
