Sweet as honey

This story was sweet as honey. I normally read dark romance. I usually go into a story blind. I found this was a well written romance story that kept my interest. I will recommend this to non spicy readers. The narrators were excellent.

Meh

Kinda boring. The whole “I want to but I shouldn’t” thing got old quick. I skipped from chapter 18 to 25 and didn’t miss anything. Might listen to the second one because it’s free…
The narrators were just ok as well. The MCs literally only kiss, which is fine but added to the blandness.
Save this one for when you’re out of credits and need a book while doing a deep clean.

Sweet clean romance

Loved the story and characters after reading a lot of more intense thrillers this was perfect. Swoony and sweet both main characters are good people and meddling Gran was a fun addition.

A great romcom

Ian and Brooke are such a fun couple. Ian is a workaholic private investigator, and Brooke is the lovely neighbor to his grandmother. When his Gran comes up with a ploy to get Ian to come visit her, the ploy backfires into making Ian think that Brooke is out to scam his grandmother.

There are plenty of misunderstandings and tons of hilarious conversations and incidents in this book. However, the romance and swoony attraction made me know that this couple would definitely get their HEA.

The audiobook narration was also superbly done. Ultimately, I just have to say that this one is highly recommended and I intend to continue on with this series for sure.

Fun

This is such a fun sweet romantic comedy, I really enjoyed listening to it and I loved the characters and story line. I recommend this wonderful sweet story.

It’s hard to fight love

Another engaging sweet story by Melanie Jacobson. She is an extremely talented writer with an ability to turn out books that you do not want to put down. This story of a sweet new neighbor with a past that she avoids, who loves old people, especially the old widowed grandmother who teaches her lessons about life and gardening. Her absent grandson investigator shows up unexpectedly and his rather rude attitude to his grannies new neighbor sets off this fun story. I read and listened to this novel and I would highly recommend. The story and performance were both great.

WONDERFUL STORY!

Loved this story. The characters were great, the storyline was interesting and the narrators were great. Thank you for the wonderful entertainment!

Young adult style trying to become more for older adults

I have so many issues with this author. It felt like something my grandmother would have loved from 1950. Entire lines were repeated, like tween series books. The male voice over actor read like he was from 1940s readers theatre and the female tried playing a character that nobody would ever want to be friends with. Maybe this would fall under the category of hallmark movie for Audible.
