Overall I would give this audible book
3 1/2 stars.
This is the first book of this series that tells the story of a scientist/doctor, Olivia and Lauren, the prince of the elves.
The narrator lacked the modulation to effectively pull off the male roles.
When the author describes a prince as having a deep male voice the listener doesn’t want to hear a light female British accent. That scene took place early on in the book and pretty much turned me off from that point on. I stuck with listening just so I could find out how it ended.
This book would have been better by just reading it.

I don’t normally enjoy romance novels

On average, I am more partial to adult romance mangas, because novels often feel as though they drag on. However, I adored this. It felt like the best of both worlds. It was engaging, romantic, well performed, and the pacing worked well. Although I was listening to a novel, it was so well written, and performed, that I could actually visualize the story into my own little movie. Well done.

great elven romance

I think this book was great. I wanted to read an elven romance and this delivered.

Wonderful story!

Love the story! Only wish the narration was a little better. Some of the editing is a little rough. She has a wonderful voice to listen to don’t get me wrong... I only wish she could do more to bring the varying characters to life and attempted to do a good male voice. (But please don’t let that comment prevent you from listening or reading the book)! The performance was just lacking the WOW factor for me.

EXCITING NEW PNR SERIES!!!

Felicity Heaton is a new author for me. I've been waiting awhile to purchase the first book, if I didn't like it I would return it but NO WAY is that happening. I loved this book. It's fast paced, no filler or lots internal dialogue here. It has mystery, suspense, angst, thrills, romance, and sex.

Felicity has created a comradery among the characters that gives you as a listener a sense of belonging....an investment in the characters and story.

The characters in this book are also in the next 3 books. As each book focuses on a main character the others help the main character even if it's sometimes reluctant.

I'm also thrilled that the whole series came out at once. I've listened to Kissed by a Dark Prince twice already and am now ready to move on to Claimed by a Demon King.

Is this book worth a credit...Absolutely!

Great Story, Crappy Character Inflection

This book was intense. I enjoyed it. the fighting scenes were awesome! ...even during sexy time, it s a thigh squeezer experience. it could use some work in world development. Although I couldn't give it full stars because the narration. The narrator did a pretty good job at telling the story but when it came to character inflection, she was piss poor. I had a difficult time throughout the entire audio to decipher one character from another. the story was good enough that I was willing to rewind to catch the reflection points. regardless, it won't deter me from listening to more of the series. so just a heads up - if inflection points fry your noodle on audiobooks, I doubt you'd be able to get through any of these books, but it's worth reading nonetheless. Good job to Felicity Heaton and your team.

amazing book full of passion and suspenes.

I loved this book! It was full of passion, love and excitement! I will be reading the other books in the series! I can't wait!
