Awesome Story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Clean romance with a gospel centered message of the importance of using the talents God has given us as well of forgiveness. I look forward to listening to more books by this author!

Amazing Weaving

The author wove an amazingly involved story out of one theme. It also reminds me of an orchestra piece, with different instruments playing their parts in a melody. It is long and intriguing. On the one hand, I wanted it to finish so I would know the answers to the puzzle but didn’t want to put it down each time another secret was revealed.
Someone who likes puzzles being assembled and stories being creatively crafted will enjoy this novel.

"Christian" category left out of audio description

My bad? I found the beginning of this book to be a bit slow and confusing--not super confusing, but along the lines of "just what is this book all about?" as I was getting both church-ish and "Rebecca"-type vibes. So I looked the title up on Amazon, looked up the book, not specifically the audiobook, and it is clearly characterized as "Christian," which was definitely not crystal clear in the audio description. My characterization of the story is Christian gothic, and that's not a topic I'm ever likely to really enjoy. Justine Eyre's narration is, as always, very good, and the story has a nice, romantic resolution. But if Christian gothic doesn't sound like your cup of tea, I'd skip it.

Good story but way too many bible verses

If I wanted to read the Bible I would not have chosen a romance to read. I think the author could have gotten across the Christian ideals without constantly quoting verse from the bible

Odd story. Rather Gothic

Odd, confusing & unexpected. Lovely accent and reading by narrator. But, hardly engrossing. I struggled to finish it; fortunately it was free.

Wonderful story!

I loved this book! Justine Eyre is one of my favorite narrators! I would recommend this to everyone. A positive, clean, and inspirational read.

Excellent story!

Loved the mystery, intrigue and faith woven throughout this story.
It kept you guessing right up to the very end as to how the story
would conclude!

My heart is soaring!!!

It was pure torture everytime I had to press pause. Love the story, love the characters, love the purely human flaws that were NOT glossed over. Love the performance… just so much love! I need more!

A little laborious to finish.

For a story about a supposedly bright girl she makes mistakes and jumps to conclusion s way too often. Simple things continue to elude her. It made me speed up some parts just to get through it. Has good quotes though . Overall above average.

I absolutely enjoyed this book

Finally a wonderful love/mystery that is “G” rated as it does not have detailed sex. It shows love, compassion, hate, fear and forgiveness.
It had me laughing, crying and I could not stop until the end.
