Resumen del Editor

For most people, a 50th class reunion is a time to party and renew old acquaintances, but Walt Williams isn't an ordinary guy - he's a cop, and trouble seems to follow him everywhere he goes.

Old flames, bullies, and a scorned classmate make Walt's reunion one to remember.

The Mexican drug cartel is recruiting young Latino girls as drug mules and the Kansas City Police have hit a brick wall until Walt is given a lead by an old classmate.

Even then, it takes three unlikely heroes from the Whispering Hills Retirement Village to help Walt and Ox end the cartel's reign of terror.

Join Walt in a class reunion filled with mystery, intrigue, jealousy, and a belly-full of laughs!

Another great book

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. Another fast read that I couldn't put down. I stayed up way too late listening to this book. As is typical with all of the Lady Justice books, there was plenty of witty one-liners, comedy, and drama to keep you on the edge of your seat. However, this book Walt and Ox had more cases to solve than usual and this time they had help from some concerned senior citizens in addition to Walt's merry band of misfits. There was also a brief trip down memory lane when Walt reprised one of his undercover assignment personas. I keep thinking that Mr. Thornhill won't be able to top the book I just listened to and then I'm pleasantly surprised when he proves me wrong every time. This is one of my all-time favorite series and I can't wait to see what's next!

Not the Best... Stilll Worth a Listen

What made the experience of listening to Lady Justice and the Class Reunion the most enjoyable?

I always answer this regarding the Lady Justice series by saying the combination of characters and the narration of George Kuch. It needs to be said that this title wasn't up to what I have come to expect..
As the review title suggests, I can't put my finger on it, the usual fit between story and the narration just was off.
The reasons behind being at the reunion seemed contrived. And George seemed a bit off. It didn't seem like he was enjoying this one as much as usual.

Would you recommend Lady Justice and the Class Reunion to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes, and I highly recommend the ENTIRE series. The characters are older and wiser, and become as close as old friends!

Which scene was your favorite?

The actual participation of Walt and his cohorts in the reunion. Walt impersonates the King again. Yet no singing by George this time! Just written acts. I Missed that.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Missing Drug Mules and other shenanigans lead to undercover work at the class reunion.

Any additional comments?

It's still very much worth the listen and the credit.

I own most of the Kindle Lady Justice series and have all of the series thus far produced via Audible editions and can't recommend the series enough!

Thanks for the opportunity to listen and offer my opinions on this work! A review copy was gifted to me at no charge. In return, I am happy to provide an honest review. Also at no charge.

A trip to the class reunion!

Another hit! This book offers a lot of the old gang, and has a really humorous scene where the whole crew gets together at a gym to catch a thief. These are some of my favorite scenes!

In true Thornhill fashion you get to hear two sides of the story. First we get the viewpoint of 3 old friends who decide to seek justice for victims of a drug lord named Hector. We hear their inner dialogue as they wrestle with getting help from the cops (Walt) and trying to save the day themselves. It's interesting to see how a civilian handles injustice. The second viewpoint is of course Walt, as he and Ox try to use the clues and catch Hector. This is the main plot story and it's very compelling to understand the horrors of drug trafficking (yet done in a way that isn't too heavy).

Weaved into all of this are several sub plots that discuss bullying & a dangerous obsessive love that goes too far. Both Heavy topics which are covered in a light, informative & at times humorous ways.

The final storyline is about Walt going back to his high school 50 year reunion and all that comes with introducing Maggie to his old life. A lot of fun was had there too.

This was spectacularly narrated by George Kuch & another hit!

Love Walt and his gang

I really enjoy this series. I love all the characters especially Walt, Ox, Maggie, Judy and his extended family and friends (mostly seniors). These are humorous suspenseful mysteries that are thought provoking and laugh out loud at times. This book has the drug cartel, class reunion and solved murder all in one. I was given this free review copy audiobook by author and voluntarily left this review. Thank you Robert and George keep them coming!!

Love this book.

I enjoy these stories, Lady Justice is awsome! Great story. I think the best one yet. I can just see Walt dressed like a chearleader. This story really hits a cord I'm sure with everyone who reads it.

Lady Justice and the Class Reunion. book 12

Yet another fantastic book by Robert Thornhill. I just realized that this series of books would make for a fantastic TV Series. I don't watch TV but can guarantee that if these books were made into movies, I would become a movie watcher!
Walt and Ox must solve drugs coming into the country before more women are murdered. Along with the drama and murders in this book you will have laugh out loud comedy.

George Kuch is amazing in his narration and perfect for this series

Great read!

mystery, seniors, law-enforcement, relationships, situational-humor, verbal-humor

The wheels of Lady Justice may grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine. There are entwined story paths, the law enforcement problem involving drug lords in the area and the upcoming fiftieth class reunion for our hero. They converge when three of Walt's former classmates have information they want him to have but it is not admissible in court, nor can the man who obtained it be known. Despite the serious subject matter (well, not the madness of preparing for the reunion) there is the customary hilarity and groaners. Another delightful book in the series!
I read my copies on audio, and give the print copies to our regional library as I thought it insane that a library system serving a population of 500,000 had not one listed. I know that when I have to wait for months to get a book I've reserved, I often head for an ebook to buy (or an audio).
George Kuch continues to be excellent as narrator.

Wow!! Best one yet..

I don't know what to say but WOW! I even took a morning off to finish it! This is Definately the best book I've read (and listened to)this year!! Thanks Robert Thornhill .. It is a book that I would give top honors without a narrator but George Kush REALLY made it come to life. He really is a suburb narrator.. Don't miss it.
