Wonderful Historical Christian Romance

The narrator was very good! Emma & the bounty hunter are terrific characters! Once again Lorana Hoopes writes an exquisite story! I recommend adding this book to your TBR/MUST READ/WISH Lists!

What a beautifully written book expressing life and life and the trials that come with it. it's hard for me and uplifting, exciting and so tender. I loved it!

Second Chance at Love Historical Western Romance

This was a second chance at love historical western romance. Emma and William’s spouses were both killed by criminals. Even though she’s attracted to him, she’s reluctant to act on it because like her husband he works at lawman job and she fears losing another loved one to that life. Her ex Carl keeps coming around and while he would be safe choice, he’s not the one her heart wants. When William discovers how her husband died, he feels guilty. Can they get past this to be together? There was plenty of suspense with bad guys to catch and injuries to recover from and sweet romance.

The narrator had a soothing tone with voice changes for the different characters. I tried speeding it up, but that made his speech too fast.

Bounty hunter meets his match

Fun historical western. The medical practices were more advanced than I expected but well done. Emma has already lost a husband to outlaws she isn’t sure she wants to take a chance on loving another lawman.

Can they forgive each other?

I enjoyed this story. Mr. Doolittle does a great job of changing his voice to fit the characters. William & Emma have obstacles to overcome in order to be together including forgiveness. A sweet, clean romance story.

Things happen for a reason

I enjoyed listening to this story. William is a widower who engulfs himself In bounty hunting until he gets shot. He is cared for by the doctors widowed daughter. He doesn't want to fall in love again and he has a secret that may make her hate him. But when God has a plan all things work together for His good.

Excellent story

I love audio stories and this one was a gift. All the characters jump to life as you encounter the emotional ups and downs

Second chance at love

I was given a copy of this audio book for an honest review. This is a sweet, clean, historical romance with wonderful, thought out characters. The narrator was great. I recommend listening to this audio book as well as the series by Lorana Hoopes.

Enjoyable story

This is a story of a widow and widower who find love. William, a bounty hunter, who is shot, the daughter of the doctor helps takes care of William. A relationship grows leading to a happy ever after. I'd recommend this story.

A great western love affair

I love women audio western is read by man it is easier to imagine yourself falling in love in the great west under trying circumstances that shouldn’t really be that trying because it should be something you’re used to but I digress I love a book now rated by a cowboy and this cowboy was awesome. When it comes to audiobooks the narrator really makes or breaks the story this was a great story and the narrator made it that much better. I recommend this book to anyone who loves westerns, romance and especially good hearted cowboys or rather bounty hunters. I gave it five stars across-the-board and a dessert everyone of them if not more.
