Effortless Japanese Learning on the Go

This book is a game-changer! I love how I can learn Japanese during my commute or while winding down at night. The vocabulary and pronunciation guides are super helpful, and the cultural insights make it fun. It's perfect for fitting language learning into a busy schedule. Highly recommend!

Good Content and Maddening Narration

While I think the content was good, the narration was incredibly frustrating. The narrator would pause every 2 to 3 words in no discernible order.

They did not do this when they were giving the English translation of a Japanese word or phrase, but these breaks were akin to trying to read a work of fiction and running into incessant typos. it pulls you out of the story over and over…

I normally listen to titles at 1.3 X speed, and both speeding up, and slowing down the narration did not help. If anything, and you need to listen slower? I think it will be even more jarring.

I am going to listen to the rest of the title while asleep , I do think that language works can sink in that way, and it’s preferable to listening with all these pauses.
