What is the khul’a in Islam? (pronounced in Arabic “khul’a”)
A quick google search can give you an idea, but as is known, there is a lot of misinformation about Islam, as there is about most topics, online.
Khul’a is the way a woman can divorce her husband in Islam, and mahr is the Arabic word for dowry, but the khul’a involves more than the woman giving back the dowry. Knowledge of the other essential details of the khul’a is paramount to understanding the wisdom in this lawful procedure prescribed in Islam.
