Resumen del Editor
Stars of the hit television series The Casketeers, as seen on Netflix
Francis and Kaiora Tipene aren't your typical funeral directors. With their famous humor and big-hearted personalities, the TVNZ and Netflix reality TV stars are changing the way we think about death and grief.
Life as a Casketeer reveals how Francis and Kaiora grew up in families that had few possessions, but were rich with love and tikanga, and how they came to work in their often misunderstood profession. It's also a book about the Maori worldview and traditional funeral customs. The Tipenes make death feel less mysterious and life feel more precious.
But most of all, Life as a Casketeer is a love story—for whanau, for culture, and for each other. It is full of joy and sorrow, tears and laughter.

Historia
Louie Anderson has been channeling his beloved mom in his iconic stand-up comedy for decades - but she passed away before getting to see him reach new heights with his breakout role. Hey Mom is Louie's way of catching Ora Zella Anderson up on everything that has been going on in his life, including his continued struggles with food and family, but also how so much has changed for the better. He also has plenty of laugh-out-loud stories about his incredibly resilient mother and his 10 siblings, as well as observations on the absurdities of life.

Luvluvluv the Tipene ohana!
We first saw them on Netflix & it was luv at 1st sight! The care, luv & respect for the deceased is exactly what anyone would want for them & theirs when our time comes. The entire staff at the funeral home are awesome as well. Thank you Francis & Kaiora for sharing your story with the world! Now can somebody convince Netflix to show us more than just 2 seasons? Much luv, respect & Aloha to the Tipene ohana & staff💝
