Luella (Lilly) decided to continue on, although she was incredibly young there was little else to do. After years of punishing and demanding work, she finally found a tent saloon to work at. She was beautiful, loyal to herself and took no shit from anyone. She promised herself years ago she would never sell her body to any man and although she had so many temptations so far, she was able to keep that promise. She had a nice room for herself, and she worked hard for what little she had. Being once wealthy when her parents were alive, she never once thought about having to struggle but her parents' money only lasted so long. Lilly finally finds herself in a nice saloon singing for so many of admirers. She was the one everyone came out to see, even as far as San Francisco and beyond.
Mr. Daily, the newest wealthy patron, just opened up the Diamond saloon and wanted Lilly to work for him, just not the position Lilly wanted and once again Lilly found herself having to fight off the temptation, the money he had offered, but at least she kept her promise to herself.
Lilly and her best friends Mary and Katherine have all kinds of adventures together. Mary opens one of the first booming bordellos for the once crib girls and native slaves. The handsome, mysterious Elijah comes around and adores Lilly; however, he has a secret, and he hopes she does not judge him too harshly. Along the way comes Billy a young orphan with his loyal hound Copper and he adds a whole new dimension to the fold. Lilly faces kidnapping, murder, saloon girl hardships of abuse, and more.
