distracting sounds by narrator
I did not enjoy this version of LBT. The narrator's attempt to imitate animal and honk/beep sounds is very distracting and grates on my nerves. If he had just read out the sounds in his normal speaking voice, this audiobook would be much better.

This Book Helped Save My Parenting and Sanity
This is a very well performed audio book with a slow pace perfect for young toddlers just getting a grasp on language and pronunciation. It is perfect for following along with our copy of the printed version. But even if this performance was utter crap, I would still love it absolutely and completely. I love to read aloud to my children, I cherish the time we spend reading; but this is my son's favorite book and I've been reading it up to 10 times a day. I want to read other things. I NEED to read other things. This book haunts my dreams. I have it memorized. Someday they'll discover it's been literally branded on my brain. When I go to give a toast at my son's wedding, I'll open my mouth and all that will come out Is "horn went beep! Engine purred..." Being able to listen to this book with my son following along in the pages is the best thing that has happened to my parenthood in weeks.

DO NOT DO IT AT BEDTIME
We have this book and we’re traveling and forgot the book, had to use the audible, the mans voice is so scary my daughter was ferried the whole night, she did not want to read the rest of the nights! Stay away from this and buy the regular book! Horrible!!!!
