Great read and listen-especially since Andy the Highlander performs this for you! I loved every description and loved seeing many of these locations in 2022. I get the feeling this great book about SOME of the great locations in Scotland is just the tip of the iceberg! I see book two, three and more! There is so much more! Andy and Lilly, you have opened Scotland to the world and we are all so very fortunate to experience it. I can’t wait for more!❤️❤️

The stories and legends and the historical information.

This book is very enjoyable to listen to. Andy is an excellent narrator, because this book comes from the heart. He speaks very clearly and at the right pace and is a great storyteller. I liked the mixture of history, legend, and facts about history, the environment, customs, and the geography of Scotland. I suggest not listening to it in one shot, but breaking it up and really taking in the stories. I bought the audiobook and it was helpful to look at a map of Scotland and see where these places are located. The book also peaked my interest in learning more about Scottish history.

A great journey

This book was a great journey through Scotland, with vivid descriptions of landmarks, both natural and manmade. it brings to life a country whose history is often not seen.

living vicariously through Andy!

I absolutely LOVED this book.
My wish is to live vicariously through Andy, traveling about Scotland until I can visit again. I will listen over and over. I highly recommend everyone listen/read this book, whether you are considering traveling to Scotland,or even if you are curious.
