The stories and legends and the historical information.
This book is very enjoyable to listen to. Andy is an excellent narrator, because this book comes from the heart. He speaks very clearly and at the right pace and is a great storyteller. I liked the mixture of history, legend, and facts about history, the environment, customs, and the geography of Scotland. I suggest not listening to it in one shot, but breaking it up and really taking in the stories. I bought the audiobook and it was helpful to look at a map of Scotland and see where these places are located. The book also peaked my interest in learning more about Scottish history.

Close your eyes while you listen. You will see Scotland in your mind!
Great read and listen-especially since Andy the Highlander performs this for you! I loved every description and loved seeing many of these locations in 2022. I get the feeling this great book about SOME of the great locations in Scotland is just the tip of the iceberg! I see book two, three and more! There is so much more! Andy and Lilly, you have opened Scotland to the world and we are all so very fortunate to experience it. I can’t wait for more!❤️❤️

Heartwarming story telling!
This is heartwarming story telling at its finest. Andy loves his job, he loves history and he loves his wee country (Scotland). After listening to "Lochs and Legends", you will definitely want to book your tour of Scotland with him, and if you've already been, you will long for a return visit.
