My title explains itself. But it's misleading. There are more than 40 reasons. Each of my reasons is an independent point, so I have not organized this book by a succession of chapters or headings. After all, most people only remember a few big ideas or separate points after reading or listening to a book. I've never heard anyone say "Oh, that was a good continuous-process-of-logically-ordered-argumentation" but I've often heard people say, "Oh, that was a good point." And back to my main point: "Why are you a Catholic?" is a good question. A good question deserves a good answer.

Bravo!
Scott Hahn has the ability to make a really complicated theological issue seem clear and easy to understand. I was, however, disappointed he was not the narrator on this book. Those of us who have seen and heard him know how much more he adds to the deliverance of the message.

I thought the book was good but the narration a bit slow. I wished I had a speed up option on my ipod to speed the narrator up a notch or two.

covenant theology, puns, and analogies
This book is much like everything else that Dr. Hahn has written or spoken about in conferences or lectures: full of covenant theology, puns, and analogies. A lot of times the puns and analogies are a bit of a stretch. This work is more of a layman's book, and Hahn is very good at bringing theology down to the "Joe Sixpack" level. Those more interested in a scholarly, apologetic, or exegetical work will be disappointed. But since it has been about 15 years since I took one of Hahn's courses, I found the book to be an nice refresher. I hope it will inspire many to take part in the Sacrament and change their lives.
