Recommend!
I loved this story!! Of coarse, I love dogs! It was hard for me to keep the characters straight at first - but after the introductions the story was so nicely written it all fell into place - I highly recommend!

Well done very enjoyable
I love this kind of small-town story where people become friends and help each other and find love and romance. It gives me hope the simple human needs and values still triumphs.

Loved this
The light hearted upbeat narration and story line was just what I needed in these difficult times. I loved everything about this book including the dog rescue. As a rescuer myself I found the author understood dogs and their humans but didn’t make the story just about their relationship. This is a multi layered book of love.

Lovely story and fantastic narrator
What did you love best about Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts?
The story was endearing, the lost dogs tug at my heart and although fiction their stories almost made me cry (I am a dog sap). As a compulsive reader going through laser eye surgery recovery this was a fantastic substitute for a paper book. Jilly Bond is a fantastic narrator who is able to do the male and female voices both very well (something i imagine is very difficult). She reads with feeling and helps you get caught up in the story. Also she has a very pleasing reading voice.

Surprised at how much I enjoyed this!
The narration was great as was the heart touching story. I recommend this to anyone who loves dogs! Also, the human relationships are quite interesting. Honoring legacies and personal growth makes for a great plot.

Fantastic!
Original, sweet, funny, emotional, romantic & clean. This well written tome follows the lives of three 30ish women who are all at different stages in their lives but intersect when each dinds themselves unexpectedly part of the town's dog rescue community. Each character is so developed and engaging tou find yourself rooting for them. I couldn't wait to get back to where I last laid off the night before.
The narration is very good too, very charming voices.
