A really fun and unique read!

Eros and Olivia shared a night together but decided they would not be able to make a relationship work. However, they continued to cross paths and and now just might be the time they can finally make it work.

The story was interesting with a nice mix of emotion, humor, and sweet moments. Eros and Olivia had great chemistry and I loved the two of them together. I was curious to see how their friendship would evolve into a relationship after so long.

This can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend the other two books in the series as well.

Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorite narrators and he did a great job here. I also liked Kelsey Navarro, too. They were perfectly cast!

A Friendship Through the Years

I really enjoyed this audiobook of Eros and Olivia. I laughed a lot listening to this and I think the narrators were perfect bringing these characters to life. This was a lot like the movie, “When Harry Met Sally”. We go through this journey of this couple through the years. They meet in crazy circumstances, become best friends, but still don’t see that they belong to each other. There were frustrating moments, but I loved the fact that other characters from the previous audiobooks in the series were mentioned and had a part in this story.

When it's meant to be, it's meant to be - even when the fated couple takes a few years to realize it. Eros and Olivia have a pretty lengthy journey to their HEA, but when it's done Claudia Burgoa style, you know it's gonna be a blast every step of the way. Love Like Her delivers on everything I expect from this author - from the witty dialogue and fun banter to the terrific characters to the swoony romance - it's perfect for brightening up a rainy day or curling up on the couch to while away an evening. This book takes what could've been a series of hookups and turned this on again-off again thing into a relationship. I say relationship because these two are invested regardless of the circumstances. They see each other through some seriously tough times, and their timing for running into each other is nothing short of kismet. When I read this one, I didn't realize it was part of a series, so I didn't know as much about the lunatics that are the Brassard family. It feels like a whole different story after catching up and getting to know everyone from the beginning. It does still work as a standalone, but you're gonna want to know all of these characters.
The audiobook is voiced by some of my favorite narrators. Yes, there are six of them, but most kind of come and go. The bulk of the story is from Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton as Olivia and Eros, and they perform exactly as I expected. Whether it's laughter or tears, these two deliver on the emotion of the story. That said, I love how so many narrators were brought together for this series, and it's interesting to see how it all comes together.

Eros and Liv had an incredible journey of friendship along the way. I do not want to give more details. I loved learning more about Eros and his siblings. They are interesting characters.

I had already read this when it was released but listening to the audio made it so much better. The narrators are are so good and really brought the characters to life.

Eros and Olivia took a while to get to where they needed to be and their journey had me crying, frustrated, aroused, happy, and sad all in one page at times. The story is angsty but takes you on the path they set out for themselves and the one fate keeps setting for them. I loved their chemistry and couldn't put this down.

A slow burn to forever

I have loved this series and could not wait to listen to this book but I had no idea how blown away I would be. The first two are fantastic and funny and I highly recommend but this one is off-the-charts great. I laughed, I teared up, I got angry, happy, and hot, and was cheering both Eros and Liv on to finally admit their feelings for one another. I also loved how their friendship takes us back through his sister's stories as they happened and then we get to follow up with them as well as the timeframe moves on. This book has more raw emotions in it as they deal with real life and we watch these two people fall in love.

Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton as well as bonus narration from some more greats make this book come alive. It was so good and I highly recommend it.

Exceptional Story & Listen🎧Enthralling & Heartfelt

I have been loving this series, the characters and their storylines, each book is just as amazing as the next and I feel like I have a new favorite of the series every book. Claudia Burgoa is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style and her gift of words truly shines in this book, the dialogue is brilliant and the story not only grabbed my attention immediately and captivated it captivated it straight to the end, but it tugged on my heartstrings as well. This third book brings us Eros’s story, he appeared in the first two books but we never really got to know him as a person and I can say I was happy to get to know him and he quickly became another of my favorite characters. As much as this book is his story it is also Olivia’s story, and it is a story of fated mates who meet too soon in life, their first encounter is a smoking hot one and they go on their way to live their live after, only to have another chance meeting again years later. I was rooting for these two, but the time was never right for them. There is an undeniable attraction between them and the chemistry is smoking hot. And when just when you think the timing is right, they almost blow it. This wonderfully plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions and a smoking hot years in the making romance. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another amazing story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration and amazing lineup of narrators led by Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton, who are exceptional at performing the roles of the two lead characters. Playing the secondary roles and returning as the characters they performed in the first book are Virginia Rose, Aaron Shedlock, Jason Clarke and Brooke Bloomingdale. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave each a voice that suited that character’s persona, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Teddy Hamilton nailed it as Eros and Kelsey Navarro did the same for Liv, both captured their characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance and had you feeling every single one. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty dialogue with ease and landed the humor effortlessly. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Loved this Second Chance Romance!

I was so excited to find out more about Eros Brassard, the free spirited brother who I met in the first two books in the Against All Odds series! Well his sisters didn't know him as well as they thought, because he was so much more and completely swoony. We begin to see him more clearly with his meet cute at the airport with Olivia (Liv) Evelyn Sierra. Liv is stuck in JFK due to a sudden snowstorm. Eros doesn't want to leave her alone stranded for days and strikes up witty conversation to keep her company. So begins their friendship with fiery sparks, that leads to chance airport encounters, and then meetings by choice, over the years because their lives are in different states, and on different courses. Their families are very important to both of them, and they play a big part in their lives, making it hard to leave behind. Eros asks Liv for more but she keeps him at a distance both physically and spiritually as she moves around the country helping her father run his company, fearing she wouldn't be enough for Eros. But what happens when their communication suddenly stops without warning, and they lose touch, breaking both their hearts? Will they finally realize that they may have lost their soulmate and their everything, without knowing what they had? I fell in love with Eros and Olivia, even though they frustrated me at times. They were so good for each other, supporting each other and helping each other grow and heal. I loved catching up with the quirky, loving and meddlesome Brassard family who add so much fun to this story. I love that Ms. Burgoa takes her time developing Eros, Olivia and their complex relationship, making their growth, and love feel solid, authentic and unbreakable. She expertly weaves a multilayered tale that will make you feel every emotion and capture your heart. The epilogue was sweet but it ended way too soon, leaving me wanting more!
I loved Kelsey Navarro, and Teddy Hamilton's wonderful narration. They do a great job evolving Eros, and Olivia's touching relationship thru their rollercoaster journey making me feel all the angst, heartbreak, joy, and passion they felt. I loved getting lost to their performance of this heartfelt, charming and sexy story of second chances on love.

Slow burn

Teddy and Kelsey did a great job bringing their characters to life, especially Eros who just wowed me. The family connections are what makes so many of Claudia Burgoa’s books so wonderful, and I especially enjoyed Eros’ extended family.

Enjoyable read with a great slow burn. I loved this series, the characters are so relatable and lovable, I feel like they’re my friends. I’m happy Eros got his HEA.
