I'm a monster. That's what Brandon thinks when he flees the medical institute that changed him. Living a normal life isn't in the cards for him because, while he can hide his scaly skin, his wings are hard to miss. So he runs and lives in the shadows where monsters belong. Part Two: The plot thickens
Oh the tangled web we weave…
I had an absolute blast trying to figure out the twists and turns, and hows and whys, of this fantastical story. Some I predicted- some I did not … but I was entertained throughout and chomping at the bit to get to the final part. The concepts of consent and victimization get stronger here. It’s still YA, but be ready for a few more F bombs and dastardly deeds by men without honor.
