Last year, Maggie Skeeter could ski fast – really fast! But this year she refuses to ski at all since her terrible accident the previous year.
When her parents force her to join them on the annual winter vacation to her family’s creepy old ski chalet, she finds herself facing the challenge of getting back on her skis once and for all.
When her modern skis break and a group of mean kids make fun of her for falling, she turns to her great, great aunts and their rickety, old magic wooden skis to solve her problems.
But as many issues as magic may solve, it can also create just as many more challenges. Maggie has to decide whether to use her aunt’s magical skis to try and win a big race to prove the other kids wrong, or make her own magic and take her chances with her very own skiing skills.
