Great for absolute beginners!
This is a great 4-hour introduction to "Pu Tong Hua" or Mandarin Chinese, the most widely spoken language on planet Earth. I will be listening to the next books in this series in hopes that it is as good as this one.

Really Worked for Me & Great Price Too

Wanted to learn some Mandarin for business purposes. Nothing heavy, just some simple conversation. This program fills the bill nicely.
It teaches you a few basics like I want, I need, I'm going to and then shows you how to customize some simple basic sentences in Mandarin so you can survive. I want to eat. I would like to pay. I have to go. etc .....
Perfect for what I was looking for. Really worked for me. Great price too.

I loved this audiobook! I'm biracial and listening to my extended family prattle away in Chinese while I couldn't understand drove me crazy. I listened to another Mark Frobose book which also helped so much. The only thing that bugs me is that the "Native Speaker" doesn't get any credit on the cover.
