Underwhelming
This was a passably enjoyable listen. The characters are pretty flat. Although there is some change of perspective doesn’t really do much through the story characterization of the Gauls is completely absent.

marius's mules could be better.
i had a hard time remembering the names, and some kind of character development didn't happen til about ½ way through. That being said, i would consider listening to other books by this author.
