In the frigid woods at the edge of a storm, I'm going to find myself or die trying.
I'm a fugitive of the fae city of Windhelm, framed for a murder I didn't commit. I only made it out of their dungeons by luck, and now I'm on the run - but so is the Prince.
Nobody knows where he is, but my instincts pull me toward the Veridian; a roaring tempest of dark magic that roams the land of the winter fae.
Our trip through the forest is cut short, though, by a group of fae that seize our carriage and bring us to their village as their prisoners. The mark on my hand, the mark of the white wolf, is the only thing that keeps them from killing us outright, but if I can't prove my mark is real, I'm only prolonging the inevitable.
I don't have time for these people. I need to find Cillian before he does something stupid, but I don't have a lot of options.

I enjoyed it!
I was super bummed when it ended! Its a good book, but they they say “cocked an eyebrow” every few sentences LOL. Interesting storyline, good character building. I honestly thought it was YA, boy I was wrong! This book gets a little steamy! The narrator has really nice voice, though not super strong in different character voices. Her best is between the main and her pixie Gully. The other male and female voices are passable but not much differentiation. I know I cant’t wait for the next book. I’ll be “cocking eyebrows” until then!

Good book
I like the story overall, there is just one thing that has me every time. The “what” of Dalia, she really doesn’t understand? By now I think she would be a super smart MC but sometimes that is not the case, hope next one she outgrows this phase. I am looking forward to what happens next!

The Mental Ramblings…
I like the book…I will be listening to the next book but I am finding it difficult not to roll my eyes when she’s starts in on a tangent. Just on and on…and on about what to do next. She only fights when forced, outside of that she fades into the background…the characters around her are developing quicker and putting in more effort…It’s frustrating. It’s also frustrating that she planned an escape for a valid reason but was never brought up after she decided to stay.Her growth shouldn’t be just sexual…

Great Suspense!!
The MMC and his brother are fighting to control the body. It’s getting harder for the MMC to take control while his brother is getting stronger. The FMC is learning how to use magic. Once the FMC has a plan to cast out the MMC’s brother out of the body. That’s when everything starts to go off. The MMC’s brother was ready for the to happen. Can’t for the last book.

Heroine needs some brains
Why does the author continue making the heroine more and more stupid instead of evolving. She continues denying what and who she really is. If not for her friends she wouldn't have gotten as far as she has. However it's painful to listen to her stalling all the time and her thoughts go on and on. Through all this she never stops to think that she doesn't know who her parents were and that she was adopted. So obviously who she is obviously isn't human. Yet she keeps referring to herself as human. She is probably the dumbest heroine ever.
