Take the time to read or listen to this memoir; Ellen is fantastic. I can see her kicking someone’s @$$. I'm not sure I would ever want to see Zelda, but I still can see that alter ego. Ellen is fearless in putting this out in the world. She needs to be working on the Reflections of a Suburban Troublemaker.

Funny, poignant, and raw - Must Read!

Ellen brought me back to the insanely unique experience of growing up in utopia of Reston. However, her stories carried so much more depth than just the influence of her Reston roots. She hits spot on the experience of a loving yet rocky family system which resonated with me deeply. As a therapist, her vulnerability and candor gave me pause to reflect on my own pain and progress.
