Legendary heavy metal band Metallica have sold 180 million albums worldwide since their start over 30 years ago. In this audiobiography, Pete Bruen speaks to Lars Ulrich directly after the release of their 1991 record, The Black Album. Bruen is a clear fan under his laidback manner, and he lets a loquacious Ulrich take the lead in this informal interview. Rounder member drummer Lars Ulrich, guitarist Rick Hammett, bass player Jason Newsted, and vocalist / guitarist James Hetfield just rock - pure and simple - and that is their purpose in life.
