Meet Mia, the Service Dog!
Part of the original series, The Adventures of Mia, the Service Dog, Mia to the Rescue is the true story of a rescue dog named Mia.
After she was adopted, she became her mom’s service dog and got to go on all sorts of adventures!
Mia shares her story to educate others about service dogs and highlight the many things they help their humans with. Despite a challenging past, Mia’s new adventure is filled with happiness.
Written by a mom who understands, this is a story for children functioning at age 5-10 who want to learn how service dogs help people with differing abilities.
Themes include: loss, grief, change, anxiety, adoption, and resilience.
