An excellent book that will likely make you angry if you often wonder how laws that don't reflect the majority opinions of Americans get passed anyway. The author presents his arguments with historical evidence from slavery to 2024. Unfortunately, those who need this book most, Trump supporters, won't read it.

It stitches together the relevant events from the inception of the Constitution to 2024 with such clarity that its observations and conclusions are indisputable and anyone can follow it. It should be a must read in all high schools and a prerequisite for every person holding political or judicial office.
