But when very real chemistry sparks during their scripted love scenes, Hattie begins to think the industry’s legendarily heartless Bad Guy might just have a pulse after all. And Anthony, for his part, is caught off-guard by the way his heart races when he’s around his aggravating onscreen lover.

As reality starts to imitate art a little too close for comfort, the world’s most unlikely couple might just have more in common than they thought…

Most entertaining book I’ve read in quite some time!

I can’t remember the last time I couldn’t stop to even sleep! Excellent, and extremely engaging story! The narrators ability to do so many accents was quite impressive.

The story was cute and simple but definitely elevated by the performances from the narrators.

I loved it start to finish. I am a huge fan of Bridgerton and this was such an enjoyable "fictional" peek into friends becoming lifetime lovers. ❤️❤️

Mindless chatter

I was drawn in by the dapper cover art and narrator Nicola Coughlan. I hoped for Bridget Jones goes Bridgerton actress vibes. Sadly, this was a shallow stream of endless sex euphemisms and innuendos, actor shoptalk, and a forgettable romance. Instead of clever dialogue or plot, there’s a smattering
of F bombs and a variety of accents.

The narrators were solid on their own, but their renditions of each character’s voices clashed. For instance, Ms. Coughlan gives Hattie a light, British accent while Mr. Lee gives her a raspy, Irish accent.
I may give these narrators a second chance, but I’m afraid this author isn’t for me.
