Good story. Terrible virtual voice.
I did actually finish it but the virtual voice made it much harder to get into and enjoy. I want to get the next book, but I don’t want to suffer through virtual voice again. I’ll probably return this because I’ll never listen to it again with this narration.

Love the story
This is a wonderful series and I am about to hop right in to the next to find out what happens. The characters are charming and mysterious. I am not liking the Virtual Voice however. I want the previous narrator to return. There is a lack of charm and accents now. Please consider this. I will listen to the next one but may consider skipping other books using this. I’m sure it’s cheaper (and shows) but real people add to the hold and charm of an audiobook. Plus narrators will lose jobs.

I really enjoy the storyline, but do not like the virtual voice as much as a real person, there’s not enough inflection and variance in the reading.

bot audio is a far vry from narrator on first books.keep the humans!
Auyjor is getting too repetative with the writting and the bot narrtion is terrible compaired to a human!

terrible flat computer narration. so bad I quite after chapter five.

Ugh Virtual Voice
I started listening to this series and wanted to continue. When I saw the next couple books were Virtual voice I hesitated but it was in the Plus catalog so figured I would try. It was so blah I couldn't get into the story and am losing interest. Sped it up so I could get thru it faster but am considering just jumping to the end to see what happens,
