Paysanne et guerrière à ses heures perdues, tout allait relativement bien dans la vie de Lucia. Mais ça c'était avant qu'on ne la force à devenir la dame de compagnie de l'un des dix Protecteurs du royaume, des guerriers redoutables.
Le pire d'entre eux est le numéro dix. Le plus dangereux et le plus puissant guerrier du monde. Impitoyable, froid, mais surtout inhumain, il ne ressent absolument rien sauf de la colère et de la haine. Extrêmement violent, il est craint dans tout le royaume et même au-delà, dans les terres étrangères.
Evidemment, il a fallu que Lucia croise cette brute sur son chemin. Sa réputation est réellement fondée, elle va vite s'en apercevoir. Sauf qu'elle ne se laissera pas faire. Et lui non plus...

Férue d'univers dystopiques et fantastiques, Shay Carrot s'est amusée à créer son propre monde pour donner vie à ses personnages. Grande romantique, elle se dirige tout naturellement vers l'écriture de romances au cœur de milieux imaginaires, avant de se tourner vers les aspects les plus sinistres de l'âme humaine et de créatures surnaturelles.
Dans chacune de ses histoires, elle met en avant un antihéros et fait de la Dark romance son domaine de prédilection. Par ailleurs, elle n'hésite pas à casser les codes à travers ses récits sombres dans lesquels elle mêle de nombreux genres, tout en y apportant parfois un soupçon d'humour.
Shay Carrot est l'auteur de plusieurs romans, dont Accords malsains, Invulnérable tueur, Le Sanctuaires des Vices et Mon immoral guerrier.
