The Frump family makes enemies of their next-door neighbors, the Wellingtons, simply by being who they are: poor, simple folk who would rather drink beer and go fishing than climb corporate ladders and impress their socialite friends. Despite how much they hate each other, circumstances keep bringing the two families together, making for some hilarious, and often frightening, outcomes.

Lighthearted with a lesson to learn
Fabulously written! Narrated perfectly! Great lighthearted book with a lesson to learn! It was like listening to a movie unfold. I laughed out loud, and felt hurt and proud, like it was my own neighbors. Really great story.
