Really good!

I started reading this book, but when I found out it was going to be on audio, I stopped to wait and it was so much better. That ending is horrible though, cliffhangers are the worst and this one is really bad, especially when book two doesn’t come out until Aug. I might have to read it instead and listen when it comes out. The narrators were amazing!

Oh my...it's hot

Wow. It's hot in here. Great book, the 2nd audio won't come out until August so I think I'm going to get the ebook and read ahead.

Don't think about, just buy it!

This is everything I want in an audiobook.

Troy Duran as the MMC(s)? ✅
Duet narration? ✅

I'd already read the physical book, but I'd been chomping at the bit, waiting for the release of the audiobook. It did not disappoint! Alexis Paige perfectly portrayed Kennedy, and Troy Duran always captures each male character, giving them distinctive voices. I was unaware that this was a duet narration, so I may or may not have squealed when I realized it was. 😂

I am already impatiently awaiting the release of the second book. 🙈

Omg!! Crazy loved this!

There is nothing better than having the characters come to life. Even better, excellent narrators who have sexy voices. This was a chance passing purchase and I’m so happy I did! I could not even imagine losing my memories for five years and then realize that maybe you love hockey. Or even better, you love four men who play hockey! This is a mystery Nancy Drew with a twist. That ending though…through my heart CR…through my heart.

GREAT.. BUT A PUCKING CLIFFHANGER

I really enjoyed this listen - amnesia, reverse harem, an unfolding mystery, three possessive rich NHL Players and an even richer and more possessive Mafia King who doesn’t like or want to share with his once bffs. Kennedy has rebuilt her life as much as she can since her accident five years ago.. but she’s a bit of a lost lamb with no memories of her life prior to that. However, as the plot unfurls, familiarities start to fire her emotions when she sees the Stadium.. and, when she encounters each of the men, her libido sparks and eventually her memories start to surface. It’s duet-style narration, its’s friction filled between the men, it's hot and getting hotter, it’s addictive, it’s got romantic suspense and it’s sparks and fireworks between Kennedy and her four men. It’s totally relationship driven. I did think there were a lot of ‘what’s popular’ tropes put in, there were eye-rolling as ifs, Kennedy did have a TSTL moment leading to the cliffy and, when you’ve got good narrators and duet narration, then you REEEEALLY don’t need all the “he said, she said, etc etc. Having said that…

Worth a credit? For me it’s a yes, I think book 1 in this Duet is creditworthy.. and I can’t wait for book 2.

Nonconsensual sex is rape

• Trigger warnings: rape, gas lighting, abandonment, lying to the FMC
• DNF after the FMC's apartment was set fire to (probably by one of the MMCs) and then the MMC who conveniently showed up in time does a bunch of sexual stuff even though she's upset and not in a good state. All of this the day after she was kidnapped and raped (nonconsensual sex is rape) by one of the other MMCs
• Not sure the MMCs have different personalities vs being varying flavors of white dude who all lack respect for the FMC
• The FMC is sadly oblivious to the red flags because the guys are pretty. She does seem traumatized after being raped into passing out, she tells that MMC that she'll never speak to him again, and then she admits to herself that he has a special place in her heart.
• There's a history of sexual assault within NHL teams, let alone towards their partners, and this book is offensive to anyone who has ever been assaulted / everyone. This isn't dark fantasy, this is rape fetishization.
• Not the worst writing but not good enough to put up with these horrible characters and the rape apologists
• Finished about 80% of the audiobook and the narration was actually enjoyable even though the book wasn't
