Fast paced intellectual suspense must-read
I didn't even take the time until now (book 3) to leave a review. I started book 1 yesterday and could not stop listening. My new favorite author. I would stick around to say more, but book 4 just downloaded so I must be off. p.s. start w book 1 it makes much more sense that way

Just as good as the first one
This is the second of this series I've read, and the third is in my library. I am a published author and realize how much work is involved in writing. I have read some terrific works with audible; this writer isxone of the very best: wonderful description, solid characters, excellent fleshing out of local, and an easily followed story line without a lot of silly contrived pre and post.

The bad guy reveal at the end!
Loved the combat. Especially liked the additional details about weapons, ammunition, equipment, and how they were used. Also enjoyed all the cultural education about Afghans and their history.
