Best one yet!

I have loved Matthew Redd since his introduction in Fields of Fire. In Out for Blood, we get to see the warrior and the man. I love that he is vulnerable but still a bad ass!!!
I also love that Emily is a force to be reckoned with!
Redd has enough to deal with after he realized that HSI is after him, but throw in an avalanche, a survivalist, and a wife and best friend who refuse to stand down and you have an exciting, fast paced thriller that you can’t put down.
I can’t wait to see what Redd is getting into next….

Great story beginning to end!

I started this series listening to this 3rd book & loved it! Can’t wait to listen to the next one! I’m hooked :)

Non Stop Action Packed Must Read

Ryan knows how to paint the scene. It’s like reading an action packed movie. What a ride! Everything I love about action and suspense.Set in Montana’s winter wilderness Former Marine Matthew Redd finds himself fighting off a lethal group of killers on his home ground.

Fast Paced and Full of Action!!!!

This third book in the Matthew Redd series is just as solid as the first two books. This one kind of reminds me of the first book in the James Beltz’s JD Slaughter series.

Redd comes under attack from a group of men who have it out to get him. Although there’s a blizzard expected, Redd sends his wife and child away for their safety. He takes his aged horse up into the mountains that he knows so well. He grew up there with his adoptive father and knows every hill and valley. He knows this will give him an advantage over the hit team coming for him. Between the snow and the terrain his hopes are that he’ll be able to get the upper hand.
These men are not backwoods mountain men. They’ve already destroyed a ConAir plane carrying his father and killed the prisoner and most of the agents guarding and protecting the man turned snitch being transported.

Chris Abell does a fantastic job narrating.

As usual it hooked you from the beginning till the end. Cannot wait for the next book in the series…

Third Matt Red Book was worth the wait.

I am always amazed when someone who lacks military or police or 3 letter government agency experience write amazing books. There are many authors who have that experience ie Jack Carr, Andrews and Wilson who have written brilliant high action thrillers. It is expected to be good. Ryan Steck’s third book supersedes expectations. High action for sure (I don’t know how he is in to keep topping it). Also, brilliant description of the Montana area takes you right into the action. You feel the cold, smell the woods, hear the sounds … again brilliant. He has introduced new characters that I cannot wait what Ryan will do with them. I guess we will have to wait until next year. For the 3rd time Chris Abell has done a wonderful job taking us into the Matt Red world.
