Acerca de esta escucha

How much longer will you stay at a job that you hate, wasting away your skills, your potential, and your life?

You hate your job. You hate it with a capital h.

Each work morning is a struggle. You drag your feet in the bedroom and hope for a traffic jam so that you can spend a few extra precious minutes away from the office.

At work, you glance at the clock every five minutes, dreaming of time going by faster.

Is that a way to spend the larger portion of every single workday?

Why do you remain stuck in your career, afraid to leave the spider web of a job that does not excite you and motivate you to show up each day?

The answer is quite simple - most of us are afraid of change. We fear the consequences of proactive choices, which is why we remain stuck for years.

Becoming unstuck professionally and pursuing your dreams doesn’t have to be incredibly difficult, threatening, or impossible. In fact, you’re capable of a lot more than you realize - right now!

To seek your dream employment, you will simply need to start working on yourself. Building your confidence and knowing that you’re capable of change means that half of the work is already done.

The rest is coming up with a specific action plan that will get you exactly where you need and want to be.

Really Helpful Book

This book was very helpful to me and recommend to anyone thinking of changing career paths or just even a job. There's tons of amazing advice in here and really digging deep into what you really want in life. I recommend to pretty much anyone even if you are thinking about changing jobs or not. Most of us are afraid to change but this book will help you get over that if you really want to. It is the fear that is keeping you from your dreams. I really enjoyed this book a lot

Timeless practical advice to get ourselves UNSTUCK

I resonate with a lot of the advice and guidance provided in this book. Over the past year, I have been spending a lot of time thinking about what I love, where I am currently in life, and where I want to go. If you don't love your Mondays to Thursday and is stuck in a job that makes you look forward to the weekend, then you are not living to your fullest potential. The book covers advice from how to seek a career change, figuring out if your current job is right for you, how to network and make use of your social group, and finding a mentor. Even if you are not looking for a career change, you can learn a lot from this book about how to have a MORE FULFILLING career!

Good basic information

This book’s cont is good for people early in their careers. If you have been in the workforce for more than ten years then you probably already know a lot that is covered in the book. I found the section on networking the most useful, but there is a lot of great of information throughout the book.

No better time for change than now.

Timelier than ever during this period of economic instability, Elliott provides you with a roadmap to changing your career path for the better.

Change can be a difficult process. However, the author makes the whole process of initiating a career change manageable and systematic. He provides you with numerous tips and sage advice on making the transition a positive one.

I especially enjoyed Chapter 4, which explored jobs of the future. With a global pandemic impacting how businesses will operate moving forward, this information is more relevant than ever. An enjoyable listen.

UnStuck Yourself from an unfulfilling career

I found this book extremely insightful when it comes to recognizing ones potential to achieve more when it comes their professional and financial life. We only have one life, and spending most of it working at a job we hate or don't enjoy is not the new wave. Chase your dreams and purpose! This was a great listen.
