After witnessing his best friend beaten and buried alive as a result of infidelity and criminal behavior, a former hustler develops a non- traditional church that is more about sex, money, and spectacle than traditional values.
A series of outrageous circumstances create a world where he doesn’t know where the preacher begins and the hustler ends. As his church develops into a freak show, things spin out of control. Along the way we meet the disgruntled baby mama, the father who disowns him, a mother praying for her child, the good brother, a collection of strippers and single mother’s taken advantage of and anti- prosperity church groups looking to do everything from take his church, to end his life.
Is religion a joke in these times? Can the black church still save our people? Will a nigga ever become a black man? What happens when all your skeletons walk out of the closet at the same time? What happens when you try to escape a criminal past, only to still be a criminal? What happens when all the women you did wrong have a national stage to speak on? What happens when your enemies have the same? What if your children wanted nothing to do with you? What if you were about to lose your wife? Could you still rise above foolishness and be happy? Great story hate the Virtual Voice
