great story

This is a great story. However, I think this is leaning more towards a romantic story rather than a mystery. I loved how we followed Kyla through the learning of her powers, but the mystery part needed work. I look forward to reading the next books in the series and considering this a light romance.

dont like AI narative

dont like AI narative i will listen to it because i want to hear the book but AI is hard to listen too especially if there is two points of views.written in the book ...at least change voice for that

story was great, it is probably the last time I will go with a book with a virtual voice. it lost so much in the telling and actually a little grating at times. so, definitely not a fan!

I love the Storytelling

The story is great! Although I don’t enjoy the virtual voice, I pushed through the lack of inflections. Lately, I am not likely to sit down and read. It took me a bit to adjust to but I think the book is worth the effort. I may actually purchase the books too. 💗

Disappointing 😞

A computer generated reading doesn't work. The computer isn't capable of changing voices between voices.

No More AI recordings PLEASE!

This was part of a box set of 4 titles. They are all AI recordings and they were terrible! I had no idea that they were AI when i purchased them. I will never purchase a title that is performed with AI again. The intonation was terrible and the pitch never changes to differentiate between male and female characters. Most of the time it was hard to know which character was speaking and every once in a while it sounded like the reader had a huge lisp that was very distracting. You couldn't get the feel of jokes or sarcasm. The story was probably ok but the reading was so distracting that I missed many parts of the storyline. Please No More AI recordings!

AI Narration...just..NO

The story seemed appealing. However, I could not get past the AI Narration, which was awkward, had incorrect inflections and made it difficult to distinguish between character conversations.

Virtual Voice is AWFUL

I didn’t even make it to chapter 10 in the first book. The virtual voice narration is terrible. Get a real narrator please. Since I didn’t get far in the book I can’t really say if the story is any good. I just couldn’t get past the narration to get into it.

Computer voice ruined it for me.

I made it through the first story, which I liked but 20 minutes into the second one I couldn’t take the computer voice any longer, totally ruined it for me!
