A Picture Worth A Thousand Words

Autumn Season has just gotten the job as the official photographer for Aloha Lagoon Resort. The a luau turns deadly when a guest dies during dinner and Autumn may have caught the killer on camera. Then her camera is stolen with the film. The hunt is on when another murder takes place. Great series and characters.

Those with misophonia beware...

This is a cute story and a good addition to the series, but the narrator sounds stuffy and wet mouthed with deep gasps of air and lip smacks! This one is NOT for those with misophonia!

Hot sun, hot mystery, hot romance

Photo Finished (Aloha Lagoon Mysteries Book 14) was exactly the mental tropical getaway I needed to escape days on end of 45 degrees and overcast or raining.
The thing that’s nice about this series is you can pick it up at any point and not be lost, as they are stand-alones written by multiple authors all taking place at the same Hawaiian resort community.
In Photo Finished, Autumn is a photographer who takes a job at the resort for the paycheck and the opportunity it presents, but isn’t really a fan of doing cheesy luau portraits. She has aspirations of being a gallery photographer. When a pro surfer is found face-down in his sushi during the luau, Autumn loses track of her camera and soon suspects the murderer has stolen it because she caught them on film. With the help of the resort’s head of security, her good friend Jimmy, Autumn finds herself investigating the murder herself... partly to bring a killer to justice, but also because she really wants her camera back. As the body count increases, so does the romantic tension between Autumn and Jimmy.
Equal parts mystery and romance, Photo Finished brings the heat to a dreary winter’s day as well as to a poolside chaise under the summer sun.
