-🥎 Found Family.. and when I say this series has the best found family of any series...Kai and Isaiah built this family around them..two brothers who only had each other but had so much love to give.
And Isaiah showed Kennedy what it means to feel safe, to feel loved , to be cared about just for who she was.

He gave her space to grow from the girl who was lonely and had no one to a happy thriving woman confident and sure of her worth.
What Isaiah gave her is all women want ..security, safety , respect, and to be cared for..he cooked for her, he brought her food while she was working, he just was the best character I have read this year. and Jacob Morgan just brought him to life.

The mental health rep in this book , how Isaiah feels during storms so well done. These two characters understood each other to the core of their souls.

“And it doesn’t bother you that I can’t really stand you most of the
time?” There’s a playful glint in his brown eyes. “I think that’s what I like most about you.”

This man! he was such a king. From the shoes the night they got married, to all the little things.. how everything was about her. Her needs , her feelings , everything was her speed. I think in an alternate setting Isaiah would have been a pleasure Dom. Because when he finally got her to beg , and the orders came out,whoa.... I sat straight up.

“You’ve never gotten a say in your own life, and the last thing I’m going to do is take that away from you again. Every option is yours, Kenny. Whatever you want to do, I will be your biggest supporter. But I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t allow you the space to fulfill your goals, to live up to everything you’ve worked so hard for.”

Isaiah = SWOON 🥰

I was so excited for this book and it was even better than I could’ve imagined!!!

Isaiah plays the long game for Kennedy. She’s always thought he’s a player and a flirt and he just wants what he can’t have. BOY….. was she ever wrong!!!

Kennedy comes with baggage. She comes from a very cold family who’s wealth is all they really care about out. She was raised by nannie’s and boarding schools. When her arranged engagement falls through she thinks it’s finally time for her to do things I want to do. However she finds herself in Vegas for her step sister’s (who’s marrying her ex fiancé) bachelorette party. It’s the last place she wants to be, when she runs into Isaiah and the baseball team. He offers to get her out of there and one thing leads to another and they wake up married!!

Isaiah convinces her to “Play along” a little longer being married. He helps her with things she’s always struggled with in life and she sees the real him he tends to hide from everyone. As time goes on it doesn’t feel like they’re really playing along anymore, it’s feeling pretty real!!

Jacob Morgan and Samantha Brentmoor did a fabulous job bringing these character to life!!

The turns. The love. The STEAM! The banter and just all of it! Loved every minute!

The absolute best story…and spice!

I was excited to ready Kennedy and Isaiah’s story but I was not ready. It was so sweet, so raw, and somehow the best of the series in my opinion. The performance also took it to the top shelf of some of my favorite audiobooks. Highly recommend!

Another perfect read by Liz!

It truly needs to be studied how Liz can never make a bad book. The characters were everything, the narrators made this book feel so real and I enjoyed listening to this book so
much!

This is the best book in the series!!!

Play Along is the best book in the series! Isaiah Rhodes is such a sweet guy who pined for Kennedy for years. Then one fateful night in Vegas, Isaiah and Kennedy run into each other, get drunk and get married. Normally, I don’t like this trope, but Liz Tomforde sold me on Isaiah and Kennedy’s romance. The relationship was built impeccably. Isaiah was patient with Kennedy as she needed to be shown affection. Kennedy is a cold heroine, but because she wasn’t touched as a kid or allowed to show emotions and then her fiancé left her for her sister. She learned to show affection with Isaiah and to help him deal with his trauma. I really like Kennedy’s character. The romance is gorgeous and I love how the conflict played out. This is definitely a new favorite!

Pure perfection the story of the narration so beautifully done.

OMG this book is my favorite so far out of Windy series! Liz does it again. Loved it! A must listen to Jacob Morgan has my heart.

Caught up made it to third for me. One of my all-time favs. This brought it home. 🤍🤍 Thank you Liz.

both narrators did an amazing job voice the characters to life. I could picture Kennedy and Isaiah in all the scenes. incredible!

Fake marriage troupe

Love the fake marriage troupe while touching on some popular/hard issues such as color blindness and intimacy issues. You will be laughing out loud and needing a cold shower.
