Trying to snap them out of it, he gets involved with Leah. He can't understand his attraction to her and once he learns she has children by his late brother, he decides to marry her. It will make his deeply religious Catholic family happy. Can Scott get over his hurt from his mother passing, his half-brother getting all of the attention and his guilt for not being more involved in his brother's life? Can he forgive his own mother for dying? Can he help Leah with whatever is keeping them apart? Can Leah keep her family alive, confront her father and get justice for everyone who was hurt by her father's actions?
