The books of the Bible were written at different times by different authors over a period of approximately 1,500 years from around 1400BC through 90AD. The Old Testament was written in Biblical Hebrew with the exception of the Books written during "the Chaldean captivity", such as Daniel and Ezra, which were written in "Biblical Aramaic" during the "Chaldean captivity". Many of the Books of the Old Testament bear the names of the Prophets who authored them. Moses compiled the earlier parts of Genesis and directly authored the remaining portion.

I really enjoyed it
Really enjoyed this version of The Psalms and Proverbs. The narrators had soothing voices which was comforting. The only thing I would change is having the sections broken down into scriptures instead of chapters. As I listened I would get lost in whatever Psalm or Proverb I was listening to and the way the program separates multiple scriptures into chapters made it difficult to find which ever Psalms or Proverb I wanted to revisit.

Music Background Amplifies Beauty and Truths of Psalms and Proverbs
All of human experience is encapsulated in the Psalms and Proverbs. When our own fears devour our faith and strength, we can seek God in His Word and hear how He increases our faith and renews our strength! It helps me to stop the audio to review an insight and jot down which chapter is being read so I can look it up later. Also, I use a study Bible to understand difficult passages or strange words. (I recommend the MacArthur Study Bible). This audio presentation of the Psalms and Proverbs is exquisite! The musical background is varied and artfully woven with the meaning of the text. Also, there are multiple narrators, which enriches the listening experience.
