Great storyline

This book is a combination of romance, thriller and suspense. So if you’re looking for a mix, this is for you! I enjoyed the suspense just as much as the slow burn romance. Good listen! Can’t wait for the next in the series.

Narrator was phenomenal. Story was unique

This book was good. michael knight nailed the characters and did an exceptional job. I wouldnt say this specific book is RH but I can see where the series all together could be. The story line was unique and really good. Journalist and mafia/crime teaming up is not something you see often so I enjoyed that aspect. Overall it was a pretty good story. Leaves you on a semi- cliffhanger but it is a good ending for the book to sort of be standalone but also leaves it open for the next book..

LOVED the story, but I struggled with the narration

The narration was very slow. I’m never one to speed up audiobooks, but I had to on this one to 1.5x to hold my attention. There were also several spots in the audiobook that “skipped” a word or two; however, when I sped it up, I didn’t notice as much anymore. If I was reading, I could’ve finished this in a day, but the audio took me much longer as I didn’t find a speed or rhythm that worked for me till about half way through.

With that being said, I loved the story. I figured out the killer before we actually found out in the story, but I still enjoyed the book. Especially the spicy end 🥵 Now I need the next book to figure out what else has happened after that cliffhanger 😭

Good boys that are morally gray

What the hell???? That cliffhanger was not nice. And the spice right before hand. Oh my gosh. I am hooked. This was such an easy book to listen to and one that made my drive fly by. The banter between the characters was great. I love how the FMC would try to fight with the MCs but they all thought it was quiet. I also loved the flirting that went on. It made the spice that much better. Overall a great experience and I can’t wait for the next

liked the narration

not my typical read and/or listen but I have listened to some books from this author so I decided to give this a try. I do like the narrator he matches really well with this book. I look forward to listening to the next book.

Good read!

I enjoyed the plot of this book and the mystery/romance combo. Tao's character was my favorite, bad boy on the outside but also showed his inner teddy bear. The last chapter was a bit much for me, but overall it was a good read and I would read the rest of the series.

I would recommend checking the content warnings, if you have any triggers.

I loved the voice of Micheal Knight. He’s sexy as heck. I loved the plot and storyline that this author wrote. I got to have suspense, murder, serial killer, secrets, and romance. So much to this story and closes with a cliffhanger. But I can’t wait to hear more.

~So I listened to this audiobook at 2x speed and the person who narrated this story was Michael Knight and I believe it was my first time listening to this narrator. Now the story itself was not bad. I did enjoy listening to Quiet by Clarissa Bright. So we have Sofia who is a Journalist that was obsessed with writing the story of the “orchid strangler”. During her investigation she was threatened and then almost left for dead!!! Lucky for her she was found by Teo… Now Teo is this hot, attractive man, but the only downfall is that this man here is scared of blood!!! Yes, that’s when I was like okay!!! Big Mafia man scared of blood… that was just a buzz kill for me when I listened to this book… But other than that it was very enjoyable to listen…

Quiet!

This is my first by this author and I enjoyed it. The narration was well done by Michael Knight. He did a good job with vocals for the characters as well as bringing the story and characters to life. The story is a dark, gripping and romantic thriller about Teo and Sofia. She is a journalist investigating a serial killer. He is a gang leader whose gang is being blamed for the murders. Teo and Sofia, two unlikely allies, come together to solve the murders. Soon these two become more to each other. This is an intriguing and interesting story that develops nicely.
